Those are right on par with the offshore lines which sucks. That means that he'll probably copy with Castillo line from them too. Which would be gay.

Jesus christ, does Joey set the tone or what?

I meant the Castillo line not with Castillo. Too late to edit. Explain something to me, I've spoke with Tommy Kapeck(or whatever his name is) who is the guy that puts the boxing lines up at Mandalay several time. Hes told me that if hes going to put a line up on a fight thats not at Mandalay and not a really big fight he wont do so until a couple of days before the fight. Looks like he did that with this weekends card.

The reason alot of books dont put up boxing lines is because the dont get enough action on them right? So why would you wait until a coupld of days before a fight to put a line out on it? You would figure that they would put it our a couple of weeks in advance.

Let me relate some of my experiences regarding this. Boxing, from what the folks at the books say, is not held in the highest regard. Sure, the "Mega" fights bring in lots of celebs and such, but it sure ain't the NFL. I used to run around for hours on end going to all the books and questioning anyone I could about upcoming fights and lines. They really did'nt give a rat's rear end most of the time. Poor Jake over at the Mirage would start shaking when he saw me coming. I must have tormented the guy with my constant badgering about boxing. Also situations have occured when these guys have shot themselves in the foot by coming out early with lines. From what I can see the offshores will post up and the suits here will find some middle ground and then they will post. No balls. They don't like getting scalped anymore. They are all in collusion so they don't get hurt. That's how I see it.

Yeah I know what youre saying but if a line has been up offshore for a week or two then they should be ok. But still, they wait until a couple of days before the fight to post. It seems like thats how they would get hurt. Not enough time to get alot of action both ways. Im not saying they have to be the first to come out with the line but if its been up offshore for a week or so why not?

Do Vegas books let you do a two play parlay with the over/under and the side on a fight? I'm thinking I would like to do that with Wright and the over.

Perhaps some may. I'm probably going into town this week and will inquire.

Does anyone know of a book that lets you parlay the side in a fight with the total? Pinny doesnt let you parlay boxing at all and 5dimes doesnt let you parlay a side with a total. Vegas or offshore - does anyobdy know of a book that lets you do this?
